Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Teal, a sword Gris garnished Celeste and a lightning bolt Tenn in saltire, in chief three mullets Vert fesswise and on a base embattled Gules a snake gliding Or. Attached below a Teal scroll inscribed "AD CAPULUM" in Silver.

Symbolism
The lightning bolt signifies the Brigade's electronic communication capabilities. The gray dagger with light blue details, illustrating the colors of Military Intelligence, refers to the covert and aggressive requirement of the Combat Team. The embattled base denotes the unit's lineage, originating from the 116th Engineer Battalion. The waved snake alludes to the Snake River Valley, an Idaho landmark and the Brigade's home station. The three stars allude to the stars from the Flag of Iraq, denoting the Combat Team's campaign credit during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The motto translates to "To The Hilt."
